11) Privacy & Cookies

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data, and our Cookie Policy/Settings explains how we use cookies and how you can control them. By using the Website, you acknowledge these notices.

HAL Website Edition — cookies and local storage

Our Site offers HAL Website Edition, an agentic AI web assistant that can answer questions about our products and services. To function smoothly, HAL may use strictly necessary cookies and local storage for:

  • Session continuity (e.g., keeping the assistant window open across pages during the same visit);

  • Security and abuse prevention (e.g., rate‑limiting and CSRF protection);

  • UI/UX preferences (e.g., preferred language, voice on/off, reduced motion, last open state);

  • Consent remembrance (storing your cookie and HAL‑specific settings).

If you consent to analytics, we may also collect aggregated usage metrics about how HAL is used (e.g., number of interactions, feature clicks) to improve the assistant. These analytics are designed not to identify you directly and respect your consent choices.

Note: HAL may rely on Local Storage/Session Storage for some preferences rather than cookies. Clearing your browser storage or using a private/incognito window may reset those preferences.

12) Confidential Information

The public Website is not intended for sharing confidential information. If we intentionally share non‑public information with you (e.g., under NDA), you must protect it and use it only for the permitted purpose. Do not upload confidential or proprietary information to public Website forms.

13) Disclaimers

The Website is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that the Website will be error‑free, uninterrupted, secure, or that defects will be corrected, or that the content is accurate or complete.

14) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • BizzTech will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the Website or these Terms; and

  • our total liability for any claims relating to the Website will not exceed EUR 100 or the amount you paid (if any) for access to the Website in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or where such limitation would be unlawful.

15) Indemnity (B2B)

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BizzTech, our affiliates, and personnel from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to (a) your unlawful use of the Website; (b) your breach of these Terms; or (c) your content submitted to the Website.

16) Export Controls & Sanctions

You must comply with all applicable export control, sanctions, and anti‑corruption laws (including EU, UK, and U.S. regimes). You may not use the Website in violation of such laws or for any prohibited end uses.

17) Termination; Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Website at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or to protect the Website’s security and integrity. You may stop using the Website at any time.

18) Governing Law; Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by the laws of Spain, excluding its conflict of law rules. The courts of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer where consumer laws apply, you may have additional mandatory rights – nothing in these Terms affects those rights. However, the Website is primarily aimed at business users.

19) Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of assets.

20) Severability; No Waiver; Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and BizzTech regarding the public Website and supersede any prior understandings about the Website.
